I picked my R up in December 10 it had to go back in for headlight adjustment last month, the dealer handed me a V7 satnav disk to upgrade no cost just bring the disk back in when completed, cant complain at that !

Ordered in May 2010 got a hire car at order+ 22 weeks no quible from VW.

Have there been any reports of ACC not working correctly without a warning light ?

Just been to the dealers to get headlights set up, They handed me a version 7 navigation DVD to update. Said they are calling people with the RNS510 to come in for the update.

Dipped beam on mine, booked in for next week

I have booked mine in for adjustment got the same problem dip beam to low. scary going fast on back roads at night !

Ordered mine last may delivered in Dec, dealer couldnt have been more helpful. As soon as he realised I was serious about buying he one sorted out a test drive in an R with most of the spec I wanted, even suggested a test drive in a DSG Golf R if I wasnt sure about having a manual. 18" on mine to many pot holes for anything lower !

Yellowplum: Its version 6.1 and they didnt give me the DVD said the same to me as they did to "simplyged" you wont need the disc. Sounds like all the dealers are doing the same installing it from a master DVD.

Cheers bianco gave it a try got the radio station bit but nothing else. I only got the car end of December and wondering if I should have got V7 as the disc that was loaded was V6 ?

Probably a dumb question but how do you check which version of maps etc are loaded onto the RNS510 ?

Yes got the proper mats, the rubber ones are for the winter with the boot liner. Still being gentle with it while im running it in !!
