Yep!

.... Golf 5 / 2008 with button.
The button looks correct and wires in fine BUT I have not put the wire through to the ABS unit at PIN 35 yet to see if it works.

Re: Troublesome wipers finally fixed!!
Have to report that I have at last got my wipers fixed by VW last week with VW modified parts. After the rain this week I can report that I have no smear!!! I was not expecting them to change them or if "modified" parts where real but from what I remember from the "old" parts, it...

Re: Flat Tyre indicator - Retrofit
Andy was kind to provide the wiring diagram and it does appear to be PIN 35 on the ABS unit.
If it works or not is a different matter!
Not had chance to install the wire to the ABS unit - may have chance next weekend.

Hi Andy! Thanks for the quick reply! So its PIN 35 for 2.0TSI with DSG on the ABS plug... ?? What about without DSG? Is it the same?? Any chance you could post a picture of the diagram you got this from and confirm the ABS controller part number that is used for PIN 35 just in case it is different? ...

Re: Flat Tyre indicator - Retrofit
Managed to make a start on the retrofit of the TPMS switch but did not manage to complete it. :( Fitting the switch is no issue at all in the centre console and routing the ABS control unit wire from the switch into the engine bay is easy as well. There is a large bundle of wires in the passenger fo...

I purchased the kit from Kufatec for the Golf 5 - seems to be the same switch and the wiring looks good for the Scirocco - seemed to be the easiest and quickest way to get the bits needed! http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p907_TPMS---Tire-Pressure-Monitoring--Harness-VW-Golf-5-Golf-5...

Re: Convenience Menu - Mirror Down
Sorry to bring this thread back up but I came across the following from an Audi forum... Enabling reverse mirror tilt on cars without memory seats: Go to module 52 Door Elect, Pass., Long Coding, Byte 4. If the byte has value 40 (cars without electrically folding mirrors), change it to 4C. If the by...

Cool! Thanks for the confirmation!
I saw in some diagrams that the control unit was on the left (looking at the engine from the front of the car)... there appears to be two units that look ABS like on the ROC - on the left and the right...
