Resurrecting this thread after a quick search as I am now getting the same issue after only 4,000 miles on the clock.

It's very noticeable when coming to a halt/when braking at low speeds.

Going to try some heavy braking, but we'll see what happens.

The difference you are going to put in is negiable. The strength of the mix is 40%/60% - G12++/water from the factory for the UK. ie. down to -25'C. So you will be taking it towards -20'C.
