Worth a try, but when searching through the file structure for songs I found the loading times really, really slow when using an 8gb SD card :-(

Re: Various SD/SDHC playback problems on my RCD510

Hi there, With regards the issue of "mix" play through various folders: The RCD510 will only consider folders within the folder that you are in when you select "Mix". So to get around this you can just add a song to the root directory. Then when you put the SD card in the RCD510,...

Rev Limiter

I've just noticed that, when stationary with the clutch depressed, my Manual 2.0TSI seems to be rev limited to 4000 rpm. (no such problem when in motion :D )

Anyone else noticed this? I couldn't find any related threads when I had a quick search (too lazy to check the manual though).

I imagine JohnC will know more, but to my knowledge they were made in unpainted stainless steel - only - but you may see of painted ones as some philistines had them sprayed... :(

It would appear not. Seems you don't have to be a barryboy with a Vauxall Belmont in order to create an automotive abomination. Re: A mis-specced Scirocco?

Hi Sotonjoe, I have one of these "Pack" Sciroccos, bought back in January. As you correctly identified, it will be a GT spec 2.0TSI, but fitted with "Spa" alloys. These are not the same wheels that the non GT cars come with, and in my opinion they are nicer than the Donnington wh...

Dealer Fitted Cruise Control

I've just found out that my daily commute for this summer is going to get a lot longer, and feature a lot more motorway than it used to. So Cruise Control now seems like a much more worthwhile addition than it did when I first bought my 'Roc. Questions: 1/ Any news on if and when dealer fitted cruis...

Thanks for the advice guys, will check the mentioned cleaning products out!

Any thoughts on how often to treat the seats? @CTRNutter, out of curiosity, how come you'll be leaving the seats alone for the first six months?

Re: I mostly leave my ACC in ..

To be honest I swap between settings quite a lot when I'm on my own, but when the missus is in the car I get told off for driving "briskly" :p so it stays in comfort a lot of the time!

Interior/Leather Care?

I've had my roc for a couple of months, and I'm doing my best to keep it clean on the outside and on the inside, trying my damnedest to keep it looking as gorgeous as the day I picked it up :) Bit right now my interior cleaning ritual consists of nothing more than a blast with the dustbuster and a w...

Perhaps you should even consider using a big piece of plastic sheeting tucked in around the back seats? Dog incontinence on the roc's fitted carpets would be pretty upsetting too if it were my car! :( How about this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HEAVY-DUTY-DOG-CAR-SEAT-COVER-PROTECTOR-LARGE-DOG-BNIP_W0QQit...

Re: Deep Black on 17"s

Worth noting that if your car is a GT on 17"s then the wheels will probably be the ones shown on the grey car in andy's post, which are different (and IMO nicer) than the wheels that come on a non-GT roc. If you save £1400 on the length of the contract then definitely not worth worrying about! ...
