Re: Rear View Camera

It should do the switching automatically once the park assist coding is complete.

However I expect you will have firmware 26xx and not 2720.

Re: Rear View Camera

You need to code the park assist controller to tell it you have a camera as well.

Re: Rear View Camera

You can still run the cables up this side of the car even if' it's a LHD so it should make no difference.

Yes. as you look at the back of the car the cable runs along the bumper and then up into the car through a gromit on the right.

Re: Rear View Camera

This was your kit  The cable is routed along the bumper and up into the boot area with the cabling for the number plate lights. The gromit is big enough for all the cables and brings them out in the right area to run along the drivers side trim. PM me about the bluetooth as the new kit is will ...

Re: Rear View Camera

Correct, I am going to pick-up a scrap bumper or some plastic sheet tomorrow and test fit the camera bracket so I can create a template to minimize risk when cutting a real rocco bumper.

I also think it will look better if the camera bracket is colour coded to the bumper :)

As per the third pic, it holds the camera in place in the bracket.

I would route the cables down the drivers side under the plastic sill and then up behind the rear quarter panels to boot area.

Re: Rear View Camera

No you can't select the option, it will always default to fullscreen with the pop out controls.

The other change is if your car is equipped with parking sensors you get an overlay of the optic sensors on the screen as well: -

Re: Rear View Camera

You will have firmware 1100, DaveB's car has 2670.

The controls are available under a pop-side menu. The fullscreen view is slightly stretched but I much prefer it.
