A vag-mechanic told me today that the esp will always be online on these new vw's, you can't even uncode them with vagcom. There is another silly feature for track-use, and that is the warning-blinkers turning on when you break hard from 60-80km/h and down to under 30, they atuomatically turn themse...

Also the new bmw's have the option to turn everything off, by holding the button for 2-3 secs. On the roc, this won't work.

I'm also eager to find a solution for this..

He lives in a city with snow only 1-2 months a year. So thumbs up from me for a set of 35mm springs.

There's a black roc with black emblems in Molde, and it looks shit compared to the original chrome ones. So keep those!

I've driven my roc around 500km now, still no smear. The one I mentioned at the dealer had around 2500km on him, with smear.

I ordered my car with the GT-package which includes black roof lining, so why would I want a hole in that lovely roof?
And also, as long as its only with tilt and no slide, I don't want to pay AND wait for it.

A rather easy way to ruin the glass if your window isn't clean.. I'll deactivate this feature with vag-com, and then remove the back-wiper.

As far as I know, you need one of the "newer" ipod's for the charging to work. Like Ipod touch, Iphone and such.

Afaik, the oil type is different in different countries.

In norway, the dealers use Shell Oil.

The 1,4 is a very modern engine, and has been running in different cars the last two years.
As far as I know (being member of the vw-audi club in norway as well) there are no known weaknesses connected to this engine.

Dealers demo-car had smear. It also fogged up pretty easily.
I was hoping that was due to bad cleaning only.

How much is it lowered, and how?

I didn't add anything from the problem-list, and got a build date in week 22 (late may).
A guy I know ordered a candy white 2,0 with no options, got week 13.

The power delivery is as smooth as can be, I just want a bit more at higher revs.
