is there an engineering reason for such robbery, or are they just playing the game?

i think i'll stick with calf control and a bit of concentration...

i specifically asked for the radio code when i picked mine up the other week... to quote the salesman "oh we don't give them out anymore, you just ask for it if you need it" something to do with safety- numpties keeping the code in the manual in the car... am i to assume this is more BS?? ...
