Re: Catching a Boulder with the Windscreen
Bad times
Same thing happened to me when I traded in my roc.
Carefully parked my soon to be departed roc to hide the broken fog light only to end up with a cracked windscreen on my way home with my new car!
Karma I guess.............

Any half decent sprayer should be able to match the paint and blend it in no problem.
As for still being able to see the damage under the paint......no excuse! It would have stood out when they were at primer stage.
I'd have them do it again.

Be careful where you leave em dudes!
The cost of a replacement is way way more than the factory cost option!

If you write to the DVLA, for a small fee (couple of quid is all) they will send you the details of the registered keeper, so long as you have good reason for requesting it (They ask why you want it). You can download the form from the DVLA site if i remember rightly. If it's going to cost to get it...

And who said mysogyny was dead? The worst drivers on the road are clearly 50mph driving, middle lane owing, phone wedged to lughole, white van drivers who, more often than not, are oblivious to the frustrated lorry driver six inches off their bumper brigade. All male, obviously. Closely followed by...
