Definitely not anything to do with a supercharger if you've got a 2.0 - it doesn't have one!

Got the vreds on my summer wheels. Can't complain about them. At least as good as the stock bridgestones in the dry and considerably better in the wet.

My arguement to VW was that that shouldn't happen. They said the nuts were too tight (they were torqued to vw spec). Not impressed with vw supplying such a crap attempt at a wrench.

Had my exhaust put back on last saturday and refitted my itg today. Much better! Also replaced my wheel brace as this had happened to the original:- http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35/Deacon666/20130216_175209.jpg And I replaced the rubber engine cover grommet VW had broken during the last service!

Gave my itg filter its yearly clean and about to go and give my exhaust a clean and polish while it's off the car.

Had it serviced, mot'd and the AC service done. £340 lighter now!

Loving the winter set up!

Took my airfilter off and had the stock exhaust put back on. Sounds a bit dull now!

Went to the deserted local pub car park and had a play in the about 6" of untouched snow. I can confirm winter tyres are amazing and handbrake turns are a lot of fun!

Does seem quite common for VW's to make extra power. Rolling roads are a bit of a lottery though. If you run your car on superchips dyno it'll probably be 200+ hp!
