Re: Dripping water?

could it be a leaking washer bottle? maybe a small crack that will take a while to change the visible water level. I did wonder this so checked and nothing. Seems that it really was some water that had got trapped somewhere and came out when I came to a standstill. There has been no trace of anymor...

Re: Had my car detailed on Sunday

It looks great now it's settled a bit Jeff. What is the name of the suspension set up place you mentioned please? I can't find anything to replace my Ed30, so going to put ARB's on it and get it set up properly. Russ. It's centre gravity. You'll either speak to Chris (Franklin) or his wife. There i...

Re: Dripping water?

I took a picture earlier but couldn't upload it, hopefully it'll work now.

There was just a little more water than this then it stopped.

Re: Dripping water?

Been raining today down your way? Parked it on the outer end of your drive on the slope? Maybe just rainwater rolling off cos the angle is steeper. C. Nope, no rain plus I'd done a good 10 miles from work to home and it didn't rain in between so any from earlier would surely have gone? Very strange.

Dripping water?

Just been to the supermarket after work (15 min drive), shopped (about 20 mins) then drove home (about 5 mins). Went out to the car about 15 minutes after getting home to find a puddle of water merrily dripping from the front of the front drivers side wheel arch. Put a little on my finger and it def...

Re: Scirocco R Invasion Down Under - Build Thread

Beautiful! Love the wheels. How are you finding the PSS tyres? I think they are the best tyres I have ever had. I hope they last a bit as they were not exactly cheap! They tyres have heaps of grip (also helps being 265's) The new wheels weigh 1.1kgs less than the OEM 19 inch Talladega with 235 rubb...

Had my car detailed on Sunday

As the title says I had my car detailed on Sunday by Russ at Midlands Car Care again (he did a winter protection around October time). The aim was to get rid of the Winter crud and give it some protection ready for the Spring and Summer. I took a few pictures which I've included below but you'll hav...

It's not that no one knows it's just that the one on the concept is it - a concept one off. Quite surprising no ones produced a copy of it though.

£145 for two years RAC cover through VW or just over £20 extra on the warranty renewal for a year.

Re: What will you go for next?

To be honest my plan is to keep the Scirocco until something goes wrong and it starts costing me money / the next couple of years at least as there isn't much out there for the price that would give me the same blend of performance and day to day useability (bearing in mind in total including variou...

Re: Anyone got Sky talk and broadband? Thinking of switching

I have the bb, line rental and calls package but can't say I'm that impressed. Will be swapping to orange shortly as it's cheaper and connection and speed seems better round here.
