After a lot of pestering I managed to get Gap Insurance thrown in for free. Not a great deal but as I was going to pay for it anyway I'm happy. It is worth pushing them. 9 days and counting!

2.5%??? sure that's not the VAT increase they're making u pay???? I hope not, they have already hit me with the VAT increase. Actually dealer just called to say that it was 2.5% for credit cards only. He has also thrown in Gap Insurance for free (I did pester him about it though). Happy and looking...

At last! I have a reg number and it should be with them next week. I think they are over-charging me by £600 though so more hassle needed, their not the sharpest tools some of these VW dealers!

Also they now tell me there is a 2.5% charge to pay the balance by debit card. Is this right?

Love the comparison of the White R with the regular White Scirocco on the 9th photo. It really does show the difference between the stances of the two cars. Almost wished I'd ordered a white one now!
