Cheers for your help. I'm gonna get a set of these from Micks Garage. The Volkswagen roof rack is £270, with most parts departments able to offer 10% off them, but still way too expensive! I also have a Thule rack for my Focust ST, but it's not transferrable, as Thule don't have anything in the pipe...

Hey, I'm getting my Sciroccco in the next few weeks, would you say that the rack from micks garage is good quality? I was worried it might scratch the paintwork. It looks good on the car, low profile and not too bulky. Thanks for your help.
