M1144 is a track pad, its a metallic ceramic pad....it's an off shoot from the very capable M1155 & M1166 They do get accused of being wooden but that's not because they're glazed easily and need rebeddi...

I can see SMS on the highline display on my car, you can receive SMS but not send. In addition they also dont transfer to your phone, so if you receive an SMS when you are driving then you cant view it on your phone it stays on the car. Not sure which version I have - PM Darren (mortygttdi) on here ...
