Is this rattle/noise between 2000 and 3000 rpm a phenomenon which only occurs on the GT 200/210 BHP 2.0L engines or does the Scirocco R suffer from it as well?

It would be interesting to confirm if this noise can be found on the new 210PS version of the engine as well. I suspect it probably will still be there, but it would have been a convenient place for VW to sneak a fix into the system for all of the newer versions of the car without recalling the olde...

Any estimates on when information about this will start to appear at the dealerships?

I've seen a few photos posted on the forums of Roc's with the Luganos fitted, but they seem to almost entirely on white cars so far! Anyone have them fitted or ordered them with any of the other paint colours?

Just washed mine today and noticed that my windscreen is covered with scratches too. As with the other posters, they appear to be perfect arcs from the windscreen wipers. So has anything official been announced about all this? Seems that quite a few of us suffer from the rasp/rattle at approx. 2000rpm, so its difficult to know if its a trait of the car or something more serious.
