I suffered this a few times several years ago. Turned out to be that if I sat down in the house with key in jeans pocket, the tightening of the jeans fabric was sufficient to hold down the unlock button! No problem since.

Had exactly the same problem on our car. At first I thought it was the rubber seal freezing on so I used silicone spray. Next day - window drops fine but drivers door still refuses to open.
