I can say for sure the Milltek non res cat back system that Was developed on my R, was loud and did drone whilst cruising on boost at certain revs. Off boost it was ok. I was surprised they removed the valve function whilst developing. It was particularly bad when starting up from cold and the boom ...

The R doesn't do long life really. Engine / ECU is set up for annual service /10k mile intervals.

3 years and 17 pages of forum gold - time has come for this thread to end. Car is now pretty much back to standard bar the Sachs clutch and H&Rs. Feels sooo different, sooo quiet and sedate. Feels like a stock TTS :P Pipe and slippers motoring from now on for a while. R will be getting a final c...
