I think it's pulling the stalk quickly twice avoids them working (or pull the fuse) and I agree they're useless, despite being required by law on cars with Xenons

there is little risk from the maps, I'll not say where mine came from but it's worth getting them from someone you know, so you know they work.

just upload the cd's to the hard drive on the RNS....it has 18gb of space spare.....

then you have the HDD, the ipod and still a single CD slot....

I only get the rear tyre noise a about 30-40mph then it is presumably drowned out?

What sort of rear tyre life are people getting? I am on 37000 and there's not THAT much wear...

mine has a satnav fitted in 2010, coz the factory fit one was replaced under warranty, although I assume that's on the VW central computer

and regardless when it is on radio it will still have next to the clock the direction the car is travelling (eg N, S, E, W)

I came back to mine the other day in the middle of a supermarket carpark, to find a trolly nicely wedged against the (luckily still turned) front wheel. Dunno how it got there, as car was front into the parking space as was the one in the next space, but lucky I left it with the wheels turned :-)
