with a 2.0TSi 200ps (as it was) mine needed about a half litre at about 12000miles, then was serviced at 18250 and at 24000 is about half way between the marks on the dipstick....so I guess not alot....

hmmm I see the spec can be quite different outside of UK, a Roc R with a RCD310 and available in Salsa.....

My Roc whilst regd in Sep 2009 was made in Feb 2009. Not sure which version RCD510 I therefore have, nor which firmware update I need to search for? anyone point me to the right version? mildly confused over versions 27** and 13**?

Yeah the interior creak and rattle build quality on my 2009 Scirocco is as good as ever a 1999 Alfa Romeo 145 was!!!

get far fewer responses compared to 15months ago when I first got mine......unless its another Salsa then they seem to wave back lol

hahah I don't open the bonnet often enough to worry about the rod which holds up the bonnet lol

thats goo, since I was looking in one of the guides (Parkers I think) and they reckon the retail is about that.....but thats perhaps for a bog standard 2009 not a nice spec one....

So when the 12 months comes to an end, VW assistance charges £109 per year to continue the cover (interestingly some £30 more than Seat charge for their 3rd year since Seat provide 2 years with the car unlike VW) Is it worth it? I see in my TESCO clubcard vouchers I can get RAC recovery from them so...
