I have a 2009 2.0TSi GT revo stage 1, on a congested motorway (this morning between 50-60mph) it will do about 35mpg, on an open motorway it'll do about 28-30mpg

Thanks for that Snapey, my GT needs a pair of fronts at the moment (17000 miles on the current P-Zero Rosso's seems a quite impressive actually) but I'll hold out over weekend and see what Costco are charging for Michelin next week......

went through something similar thing in 2007..... interestingly (they also took they keys of the second car without the car) as soon as we spoke to the car insurance company they said all they would do is reprogramme the immobiliser not change the locks.....at this point we were potentially claiming...

agreed...the mirror controls are poor at best.....
SEAT have it right, heating with rear window, fold option on switch or on locking from remote, with auto unfold on restarting the car.

I do wonder how the dealer treated mine in the 5000 miles they ran it as a demo......the sales woman who drove it most of time said "I've never taken it off of sport setting" so might be an indication.....but I am not over concerned at 10,000 ish between top ups....

mine needed a litre at about 12000 miles, had its first service at 18250, then needed another half litre at 25000.....currently on 28300 and still on maximum

a4gee.....I agree, the last week has been frustrating that it don't slide, but it does make the inside nice and light and looks good outside as you say but operationally, it's been fine

Iain, you need to have a certain FW version (someone will know which) to get 7digit to work as well as the v7 maps....
my car (manufactured feb 2009) did not originally have a new enough FW for 7digit, hence my fiasco with updating it.....

when touching the firmware, remember you can brick the unit.......which is a very expensive fix....I know I did it.....

just checked mine and at 25000 miles rear are evenly worn with about 5mm on them
the MK1 TT wore rear types in that way, but they have the rear wheels visibly tilted inwards at the top......
