Could be either one? but they just do both to eliminate any come backs basically...

There's a auto gearbox specialist in Bristol, and said we just recondition the mechatronics unit and change the clutch pack for 2k to eliminate all problems.

Any ideas guys?

I have a 2.0 tsi dsg, since I bought the car I get this intermittent juddering, ( at pulling off from stand still or in R) usually from an inclined hill, car usually needs to be fully warmed up and driven quite hard to start doing it. It has been aggravated a bit since I did a stage 1 remap, it does...

Don't know why a vw specialist is certain the chain has to come off. He was recommended by loads of people and knows his stuff.

Ok thanks I'll try and find someone to do it but they are all saying the same thing and it's not worth doing as I'm not losing on the dipstick

One garage is a vw specialist and the others have been people with sciroccos on Facebook scirocco club page.

Will try and look into it more as it doesn't make sense.

Apparently it holds the cams down?

I've looked and can't seem to find much on it, but apparently the chain has to come off and it's huge amount of work involved

Hi, has anyone ever had their rocker cover changed on a 2.0 tsi?

I have a small oil leak coming from the back and heard the chain needs to come off just wondering if it's worth it.

Was misfiring and went into limp mode smoke coming out the back. then just wouldn't start and I was broken down. Had loads of codes coming up

Just wanted to ask everyones advice, I'm about to have a new injector put in as number 4 looks like it's stuck open, does everyone have the whole lot changed or just the one that's gone?
