Had same issue. Turned out to be carbon build up on intake valves.

No only when moving under load in low revs. Seems to be more in 3rd and 4th gear. And yeah I'll try record it later today [emoji106]

Re: First signs of rust on the rear arch.
Yeah I'll take some tomorrow for you. I also have rusting with the rear sub frame and shocks. They all need replacing soon. I do a lot of motorway driving which are salted heavily so probably that caused it. All needs sanding down and re priming. Not sure if I'll respray or wrap after that though. T...

Re: First signs of rust on the rear arch.
My arches are all bubbled and severely rusted. Same year 2.0 tsi gt black. Took to VW cause still under paint warranty. Basically fed me a load of crap that it's been painted in past even though I proved them wrong and refuse to fix it.

Re: Misfire Issue on hot days
Do these engines have issues with valves sticking? I'm having second thoughts with it being injectors as have no code for them nor any smell of petrol. This seems to happen when engine is running hot. I've just drove 50miles on cold day and had no issues?

Re: Misfire Issue on hot days
Last readout was throttle body but that sorted itself out. Today I had another missfire on 2. Lost power driving home. Problem started when was sat in traffic. Felt very lumpy then when cleared traffic and started to speed up to 70 the warning lights came up and started missfire bad. Checked coil on...

Re: Misfire Issue on hot days
So I got a set of coils and plugs and the cars been fine for days. Even felt more smooth in low end however today I went to drive the car. Started fine then 10 meters down the road the EPC light came on and car dropped into limp mode. Pulled over and restarted in and problem gone now. Any ideas?
