On a recent trip away I got an EML on. The car didn’t go into limp mode and as I was away on holiday I left it until I got home. I connected my Carista and had a number of faults mostly because I allowed the battery to go flat. But the one causing the warning light I think was P0420 Catalyst System ...

After reading all the horror stories I got mine changed at 74k. I’m not sure mileage makes a huge difference, for peace of mind I’d get it changed.

I’ve noticed my lower grill is damaged. I want to replace it. Firstly where is the cheapest place to get a new one?? Brand new lead purchased (crazy it was cheaper to get one from Germany than UK) genuine part and its all sorted working perfectly now. Obviously the second hand lead was faulty.

Well the lead stopped working completely. I bit the bullet and ordered a brand new one. Lets hope this works. Update to follow.

The lead seems to be working fine now with the iPhone. No more cutting out etc....odd took the car for a half hour drive and it was fine. Fingers crossed it all sorted now.

Reducing the Aux volume worked and the sound quality is acceptable now but I take your point on the Aux volume. I’ve updated the firmware on my mdi and brought a genuine although second hand lead with white collar.
