RW1, I have been trying to track the L'Audace on the Marine AIS website but cant find it do you have any info on it?

Yeah I thought I would get about 30-35mpg on the motorway. I will try and not get 20mpg lol, but im sure that when I get it I will have to get a feel of the whole range of fuel consumption haha.

I have ordered a 1.4TSi and I was just wondering what MPG people are getting. I was hearing about 30-40MPG, I would like to know what else people have seen.

Thanks RW1, I just thought that VW would have anticipated that the cars would be built and arranged some spot hires because they are not going to be making money with cars sitting on the dock for long periods of time.

Anyway, time will tell and I will just have to wait and see what happens.

I am starting to become a bit annoyed with VW, my car has been sitting in Portugal for the past 5 days waiting for a boat and according to customer services does not have a boat scheduled for it to be put on. Im sure they have boats it just seems a bit bizzare that my car is getting left so long. Ha...

Still you would have thought that running a wire from a few centimeters would be too much of a big deal for them? Oh well....

Does anyone know why the AAC button is on the other side of the gear stick? So if you were in 1,3 or 5 you cant see the button so if you have forgotten what mode your in your have to stretch round to see it?
