Re: phones you've used that work with factory fit Blue Tooth
Has anyone managed to connect a blackberry - my work phone is a Curve 8310 which refuses to play ball It dosn't work with an 8310. The problem with VW bluetooth premium is that it is a Nokia unit inside. Therefore it works with most Nokia models (I use an N75). I started up with a Black Berry 8310 ...

Re: DSG Hill Hold
Has the same noise as Andy describes and consider it normal. The noise changes (get louder or squeekeer) the steeper the hill is and it comes from the brakes when starting going slowly forward. It take the brakes some seconds before they are released when you start the drive.

Launch control limits RPM to 3000 and reduces the torque to prevent destroying the Dsg.

Re: problem with dsg
Can't understand that your dealars do nothing about the problem!! I have just been called in to my dealer (Denmark) because VW has discovered a software problem with the dsg. I have only experienced the problem once about a year ago but the problem should be permanently solved by a software update.

Hi,
can anyone tell me if the shark fin (thats the danish expression for the antenna on the top of the roof hope you know what i mean), also is a GPS antenna?
If yes, how do I connect it to my RNS510 (how do I recognize the cabel)?

Re: Winter Tyres
BTW, according to my modest knowledge of wheels and tires, there is no way that 205/50/17 will fit on a 8J 17" Donnington wheel! Dunlop's website indicates 5.5 to 7.5 wheel width for the 205/50/17 whereas mine are 8! Looking at Dunlop's specs a 225/45/17 and 235/45/17 are best suited for an 8J ...
