Only had the car a month so updated the timing chain tensioner to the latest revision, had a de coke carried out (loads of carbon buildup) and a new injector! Now i am happy with how it is running I can look at doing some little mods!

You can definitely retrofit it, you need a stand alone unit for the RNS though, it does not sit on the dash and is fully integrated. Hi, Been doing some research online and can't locate a solid yes or no. I understand that it is a good idea to replace the timing chain / tensioner on a 2.0tsi pre 2012 for an updated 2012 revision tensioner, is this correct? You can easily spend 25-30 hours doing a 2 or 3 stage correction especially on some cars with harder paint types. Generally around £250 is around the right money for detailing. Most TFSI and TSI have a rough idle. Can be a million things. I'd check the PCV system first, and use 99 fuel if you're not already. Walnut blasting is an option but it's around £300 at a specialist. You don't really lose much power on the turbocharged engines so up to you if it's worth the cost or...
