Re: Salvage scirocco
Disaster.... I got the Rocco mapped to around 200bhp by a very reputable company which was actually higher than i wanted/needed but i asked for it to be tuned down a bit so less stress on everything. Even with funds running very low the last thing i could do with hearing a strange clicking noise. Iv...

Re: Salvage scirocco
Looks nice with those new wheels and better without spacers because of vibrations. How do you fund all this as a student?? Thanks Roy. Im still running front spacers and at greater speeds there is a vibration through the steering wheel. To be honest it has been very tight and have spent a lot on it...

Re: Salvage scirocco

Re: Who are you insured with?
£1500 doesn't sound *too* bad. Is that flux direct through a comparison site or did you call them? Its always better to call the companies if your car is modified. 24 years old, 2.0 TSI, 3 years NCB, 1 SP30 and 3 points. £730 Adrian flux with a remap, alloy wheels, intake and lowering springs decla...

Re: Salvage scirocco
That's a cracking result. Looks really clean, it's dying for springs now though! Amazing work. Saw the first photo, got some heartache for a little time, back to normal now with the latest photos! Springs and spacers it is! Again, amazing work. Thanks for your positive feedback and yes it is Addymk...

Re: Northern Ireland meet up
Doesn't seem to be that many N.I owners on here but once i get mine on the road. I think it would be pretty cool to get a convoy of sorts if you go to any cruises like cruise for cancer etc

Re: Salvage scirocco
Bit of an update i am going to sell the facelift bumper which was a very hard decision for me to make as the whole facelift kit was going to work out to be a lot more money. It was sort of out of impulse but i have purchased the entire pre facelift R kit which includes the R exhaust. It was his last...

Re: Salvage scirocco
Sterling effort this. I've generally found body work to be expensive, fitting the door/wing/bumpers is an easy DIY but welding in a new rear quarter can't be cheap! Thanks and I thought the same but the man doing it is brilliant and his work, honestly you just would never know it has been touched. ...
