That's brilliant Kev, thanks... :) Is the brighter orange segments the sensors detecting something behind the car, its pretty cool looking I'am glad I ordered the factory option rather than the dealer fit sensors that just beep. it might look cool but i doubt it'll give you an edge over...

dont see why the sensors/folding mirrors are a must, haven't had these on my previous cars and have never missed them (last one the rx-8 which doesn't have much rear visibility either) i often drive a lexus rx400h and i don't think you can get one without the sensors (so i know how they feel like, s...

ordered in the end of october and altho they said i'll be getting it in the beginning of 2009, the build week they gave me later was 16.
xenons, pano roof & dynaudio... (+ most of the other goodies :P)
(not from uk tho, i was among the first to order the scirocco here, we got it a bit later)

delivery times are crap already, less advertising = better :P

i ordered my xenons in october and they told me it would take around 2-3 months, it seems i wont be getting mine before the end of march though

i don't get it why are you guys switching them off, here they are required by law on all cars for years and it totally makes sense
what are the advantages of not having them i'd like to know.

I agree about the parking sensors - they ought to be standard! i'd have to disagree, i also think they mess up the rear a bit and i would be ok with them if they weren't visible and i wouldn't have to pay for them. guess im used to parking without them, my current rx-8 doesn't have the best visibil...

if i had to choose i would go for dynaudio. Marks out of 10? Have you heard the standard setup? i've heard the standard in a golf (not the dynaudio one tho) and it might be fine for most people, for me it was a bit weak (had bigger speakers, amp and a sub fitted in my last car tho so i might not be...

got dynaudio and cruise myself, left out the folding mirrors because i really dont see the point, maybe you have extra tiny parking spaces in the uk?
