DSG oil change, replaced rear wiper, ordered black rear and front badges, took photos of it in the snow. https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/29497609_10156313167633980_4043300805367824384_n.jpg?oh=5aea4c894d1ca040b1aa1e57f89a454a&oe=5B368239 https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...

Re: Breaking in a new clutch
That's good to hear! I agree with you on the 500 miles seeming more like a precaution, going to give it another 50 miles or so and give it a good belting afterwards. As you said all gears engage and disengage correctly with 0 judder, leading me to believe its pretty much already worn in etc I overco...

Breaking in a new clutch
So I’ve just had the Sachs performance clutch kit fitted and awesome gti said I need to do 500 miles around town before the clutch has bedded In fully. This seems high to me, as I’ve done about 100 now and there’s no longer any judger etc; how long would you wait before giving it the beans? Each mil...

Re: Stage 1 clutch advice
Stage 2 ? Good man ! I have to admit I’ve been looking at going to stage 2 and pricing it up. Maybe when my insurance is due for renewal [emoji846] You’ve kept your catted downpipe for getting it through the MOT I presume? Re: Stage 1 clutch advice
I got the Sachs Performance clutch kit (direct from Sachs) and a new Sachs dual mass flywheel (from Euro Car Parts). I also got a new release bearing/CSC which was a genuine part from VW. Definitely worth getting it from there it was good quality. Try your nearest VW garage and ask their parts depa...

Re: Stage 1 clutch advice
Lucky you!
My car seemed to produce a stupid amount of torque at stage 1 -maybe the reason for the clutch failure?
its now decatted and awaiting stage 2; so the new clutch cant go in soon enough.

Stage 1 clutch advice
As above- I’ve gone stage 1 on my 2.0 tsi and the clutch has began to slip quite badly. I’m looking to replace it with the Sachs performance clutch from awesome gti- however I also have the clutch release bearing noise, so I’m looking into replacing this also. Can someone link me to/ provide me with...

This happened to my passenger mirror glass; although it looked like the glass was secure, it wasn't!
Easy fix - just used double sided tape to stick it back in properly

Re: Photos of H&R lowered Scirocco?
Just search for it using the search bar in the top right, it'll come up without to much effort.
I have H&R's on mine and it makes the car sit perfectly- better stance, that can still take speed bumps with ease
