Good luck, mine they said the front part of the chassis was bent but who knows? It looked bloody straight when i popped the bonnet and shone a torch down there.

Would also wonder on how the door frame is? looking at that the does doesnt look like it would shut so the frame itself might have taken an impact? or been damaged when getting the driver out.

Made no Diff to me, my insurance paid out more on my Car than I paid for it :-? and Gap insurance doesn't affect what the body shop costs are. that's just the balance of if its written off or not, so my 9k Car had 11k of Damage = Write off!

Had a similar fail on my Mk4 Golf GTI but that had done over 200k blew a hole out through my bell housing, thankfully it being a MK4 it was far cheaper to find a replacement gearbox.!

You mean with the ignition off? why would you want that? having something lit while your out of the car would just drain the battery?

That seems way fairer, they are probably using clocks from cars like mine that are ending up in the scrapheap.

U know you can get FW and maps for free if u look in the right places!

I drive a 140 Diesel, and for me, I get around 50mpg on average 60 miles a day all motorway I do next to 0 town driving. my old mk4 Golf GTI 1.8T which is a sim engine to the mk1 TT wouldn't go past 30mpg on the same run.
