as said above the look of paint is down to the prep...don't spend lots of money on products instead invest in a DA polisher and some polish.
Polished paint and careful washing is what makes paint look amazing...products only enhance/protect the paint underneath.

for minor swirls a heavy filler glaze like prima amigo (great on dark paint) works amazingly well and then top this with some wax to protect. Swirl marks are also inevitable on paint and heavy hard to avoid...I vouched never to own another black car as the swirl marks really wound me up and very har...
