Ashley, not sure if i've got the standard climate control cos i'#ve got heated leather seats. Not sure how the design of the unit changes when they are no heated seats?!

Well i've had my car just one day and the avergae MPG is already 41 MPG...although thats mainly motorway driving between 60-80 mph...pretty impressed given that its only done 200 miles!

Well I was given the Autoglym package free of charge by the dealer (much to my surprise!) so its already sparkling. And the car is too big to fit in the garage, so it'll have to stay on ther driveway.

Well there will be another rocco driving about west yorkshire (huddersfield) from thursday mate, a white 1.4 tsi.

Slightly confused on this one...i've got a number of optional extras on my Scirocco that should be arriving this week. Do I need to declare these as modifications when I arrange the insurance??

Hey Guys... For those of you with cars built in week 48, there is a ship due into Grimsby at 8am tomorrow direct from Emden!! And i've been told that mines on there (fingers crossed!)

This is so funny! mine was built in week 48 so it better be on this ship (dealer says they don't know what ship the car will be on!)

Just been told by dealer that Sciroccos built in Wk48 will be delivered around 15th December...just though i'd provide you with this piece of info.

I certainly hope so trix!! could do without paying the extra vat if it arrives in jan.

Well I placed my order on 1st August and was initially told it would take 12 weeks for delivery (beg Nov). For last 2 months i've had a unconfirmed build date of Week 47 build, and on saturday was told my build date had been put back to Week 48 due the number of forward orders!! But at least its now...

Ordered a Candy White 1.4 TSI on 1st August and only just got a build date!!.....Week 47.....its already been six weeks so got at least another 10-12 weeks.

Was told mine was the last Scirocco to be ordered through Huddersfield VW's allocation in 2009...pretty lucky I guess.
