The Scirocco actually has an electric pump which circulates coolant through the turbo to cool it down once the car is turned off. Having said that it's still good practice to let it idle a bit. The "clinking" noise you are hearing comes from rapid cooling of metal parts. Most types of metal will emit a similar sound when cooling rapidly. In our case it is a normal sound and causes no damage on its own, but it suggests something done wrong.... You should really let the engine stan...

Okay, seems most of you are encountering squeakage while opening/closing the doors. I've got a some-what different squeak issue. Every time I go over a bump or put any kind of twist on the body I hear a rubbing/sqeaking noice from my window.

any solutions anyone? I tried Silicone Spray on the rubber sealers but it only helped for a day and proceeded to get even worse then it was before the spray.
