Re: Bagged Facelift Rocco R
Hi mate, car looks incredible! Quick question if that's okay, did you fit the airlift shorter rear struts too? I've just fitted air to mine and the rear when fully aired out is still an inch or so off the wheel but I didn't use the shorter struts as they haven't arrived yet, should be here before th...

Re: Tom's Bagged Scirocco TDiR : OEM+
Hey man! They are 8.5j et45 with 10mm spacers up front. Hope that helps! :) Tom[/quote] Massive help thanks mate! I'm nearly sure mine are et35 so mine would stick out 10mm more than yours (without spacers) so should clear the strut I've got to thank you for the idea of relocating the 12v socket too...

Re: Tom's Bagged Scirocco TDiR : OEM+
Hi Tom, Just a question regarding your wheels / air ride if that's okay I've got airlift bags ready to fit to the Rocco, but just upon looking I'm sure ill need to run spacers to stop the front wheels catching the air lift struts, just wondering what width and ET your fronts are along with what size...

Re: Brake pad issue
ECP are notoriously bad for having the wrong parts against the wrong car. Yes, parts such as brake parts are shared across the whole VAG family. Scirocco is based on the Golf MK5 platform therefore they share some parts. Ahhh Okay, that could explain a lot. Yeah that's what I thought, just thought ...

Re: Airbag light on and MFSW wont work
I think if he sold you a car that the horn doesn't work, then it would fail an MOT which means it's not safe to be on the road. Maybe have a word with the seller. Was it private or from a garage ? Unfortunately it was private and he told me about the issue, but he did say that the clock Spring he p...

Re: Airbag light on and MFSW wont work
Haha yeah that's what I thought too, after ringing VW today, I got the part number I need and the guy has given me a slip ring that wasn't compatable with my car that bas*ard. So looks like I'll have to find a one with the same Code second hand, £210 from VW! Did you need to code the new one you fit...

Airbag light on and MFSW wont work
So I bought my car last week and the airbag light was on, I have no horn and non of the buttons on the steering wheel working. The guy I bought it off said it was the clock spring that had broken, but he gave me a new one to fit, telling me that this would fix the issue. So tonight I fit the new clo...

I have just bought a 2010 gttdi which has had the full R kit fitted, light also, but they don't work as they should, so until I can find someone or some way to sort this, I was wondering Will standard lights from a 2.0l gt tdi fit in a scirocco R bumper just so I have a road legal car that is safe, ...
