Discount on new cars
Hi All, Just to advise you of a rather frightening conversation I've just had with my local dealer. I called to see what my silver dsg car was worth to them at the minute as i fancied changing to the diesel. He said he didn't want to ruin my day by naming a price........they are currently selling ba...

Anyone got DAB radio?
Hi All,
Just wondered if those of you who have the DAB option, think it is any good?
Cheers

Re: Flashing Fuel Light
Yep that is what i was referring to! Just find it a bit annoying by flashing on every few secs, once it has "pinged" and lit up i know i need some motion lotion, don't need a distracting reminder!

Re: Teething Issues
According to my dealer it isn't normal. I think they re-adjusted the catch it'self on my car. Works first time every time now from key fob or door panel!

Re: Teething Issues
I thought it may have been that too, i then tried holding longer and longer with no success. I never usually use the boot release button on the door, but when it was no different i presumed it was the latch it'self......and so it turned out to be. Dealer had the same prob on their demo.

Re: Teething Issues
I took my car in with no MW radio reception and the remote boot release usually needed 2 goes to release the bootlid. Both fixed within 2 hours. Apparently the MW thing is a well known problem which there is a modification. Otherwise i love everything about the car, makes me smile every time i see it!

Flashing Fuel Light
Hi All, Just wondered if it is normal for the yellow fuel symbol to constantly flash rather than just illuminate when the tank is getting low? I haven't noticed it before as i usually fill up early but find it quite irritating when i still have over 85 miles range. Most cars just illuminate (and chi...

Re: Fuel Consumption
Im averaging 30mpg after 1200 miles and plenty of relaxed motorway driving. Have people found that it has improved significantly after more miles. Thought i wld be getting mid 30s when taking it steady!
A small price to pay though!

Re: 1.4 Petrol and 2.0 Diesel now on UK website
Must say im surprised at how poor my mpg is. I borrowed my local dealer's manual car for 2 days and averaged 35-36mpg quite easily on my normal commute (lots of motorway). As they claim the dsg is more frugal, im amazed that i can only muster 30 mpg at best. I've now done 1200 miles, have you guys f...
