Me and my car were defeated by the snow today or rather we were defeated by the gridlock caused by the snow. 3 hours to go eight miles :cry: before I abandoned the car in a car park in Bothwell and walked the remaining 4 miles home. Glad I'm home though as there are reports of people being stuck on...

Haven't driven my Roc in the snow yet but I had a DSG fitted golf last year and loved it in the snow. I do not get this hybrid nonsense. 50 odd MPG, not that far ahead of the 1.4 TSI and less than a TDI. Bizarre comparison as well comparing it with the Roc. The RCZ looked a bit leary in the corners, Tiff was struggling to keep it on the track

Has anyone bought this that had a MK5 Gti before, the stock system in the Golf was awful and i had to spend a fair bit of money to correct that. is the stock setup in the Scirocco a lot better? I'm looking to order the sat nav option with Dynaudio.
