Hi all - I'm looking to get the speed display on my '65 Roc R changed to mph rather than kmh. Would this be possible with VAGCOM and if so, anybody near Coventry? Thanks.

I know that it couldn't be done previously due to the fact the km/h wasn't marked on the speedo so EU regulations required it on the display. However now VW seem to be marking it on the speedos surely there should be some way of changing it.

Wow - you got a really good deal there. Which broker did you go with? I've gone for the pearl black as well (BW 43) and I'm paying just over 200pm with 2580 up front inc admin fee. I have gone for maintenance included but thats only £15/20pm.

It'll be coming into Telford so I think Grimsby would be the most likely port. Hopefully there won't be too much of a delay if there is one.

Spoke to VW today - still not on a ship. They have told me the next 2 ships are due to leave on 29th October and 5th November. I'm hoping mine will be on the earlier of the two (this would be in line with the 1 week time frame).

Wow. Didn't realise it took that long to get on a ship. Well I guess it'll most likely be 2 weeks now until I get my hands on it. Can't wait.

Thanks - the online chat were able to help me on Friday - unfortunately my car is still awaiting allocation. Will try the number tomorrow morning.

Yeah - not that interested in the car-net. But it's free so can't complain. It's the app connect I'm interested in - that allows CarPlay/Android Auto to work (and I suspect the voice control - hence the request for an activation key). It's the key which costs £100 I believe.

Hi

Has anybody got app connect added by VW post delivery of their car. From what I've read, the new MIB2 units have the hardware included so the app-connect can be activated (for £100 I think) if it wasn't purchased when ordered.
