Just to throw my experiences into this one...
Today after my typical journey home I switched off the engine and the fan ran on for in excess of five minutes.
This has happened on one other occasion.
Mine is 140 TDi
Anyone else seen this?

Recce
You need to format the drive FAT32.
I used Partition Magic to do this as you are right in saying Windows will not do this natively. You need a utility to do this.
Thanks

Setup Menu - Second Speed Display
Well the menu says it should exist but it isn't there on my 2010 GT!
Basically I want my second speed reading to be in MPH rather than KMH - is this disabled in the UK?
Thanks

Re: Track listing on the RCD 510 unit
For info...
Have a look at renamemaster - it is an excellent utility that amongst other things is excellent for prefixing numbers to the beginning of filenames. Obviously you have to get the tracks ordered correctly first

Re: RCD 510 issues with portable HD
That option is ticked and it does appear to look in different subfolders but does not appear that random. i.e. first track will be from an artist beginning with the letter A, next track will be from an artist beginning with the letter B, next track will be from an artist beginning with the letter C,...
