Re: Serious insurance premuim reduction.
I nearly fell off my chair when I changed my policy from a 3 year old 2.0l GT to a brand new R and the premium was £12 less

Re: Advice needed please guys! :(
I was beginning to think I was the only one in this case! However i'm also sorry you have had to deal with this to. Its exhausting!: Yes it is very tiring. In my case it was a car that was consuming gearboxes faster than they could replace them. After an extremely heated discussion with a manager a...

Re: Advice needed please guys! :(
Sarah, only just spotted this thread so this advice may be coming a little late sorry. I have had first hand experience with a situation almost indentical to yours, but not with VW thankfully. If you bought the vehicle on finance then you have the right to withhold payments for goods that have been ...

Usefully there was a GT parked next to my R which gave me a good chance to look at the differences in more detail. http://farm9.staticflickr.c...

Re: 3D - yeah or meh?
Speaking as someone with broadcast industry inside knowledge, 3D is very likely to be a flash-in-the-pan. Current technology discussions are that 4k (more than twice the resolution of HD) will supersede 3D. The depth of field you get with 4k is quite astonishing on a small (domestic TV) screen and p...

How was Friday the 13th for you?
Although I'm not superstitious, I was expecting the usual BS ans daily grind, but having been working hard for the last 18 months to try and find a new job I finally got written confirmation today
I hope everyone else in Sciroccoland had an event free Friday the 13th.

Re: R Exhaust Finish
I've been using OOO grade steel wool (like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Faithfull-ASW1O ... B000C752EK) on the tail pipes of my GT for the last three years with no ill effect. Have found it very effective.
Have to confess I've never had a car with such mucky pipes!
