Following....I wanted to fit these style night eye led as dipped beam. Like yourself couldn't work out how the would fit with the bulb holders etc. As the main contact is on the edge of holder?

Apparently best way is driver wheel off and inner splash guard to get easier access. I'm doing mine in a few days.

Gave the beauty a little detail today, single stage DA polish with Menzerna super finish and FK1000P Wax, would people say this combo is a good setup? Sticking turbo vanes or dirty egr maybe, my old 140 golf had the same issue...cleaned it out with mr muscle and it was fine after.

Think it's just the angle, and the bottom piece mounds around the bevel so looks thinner, was dead easy to do just tried to be steady and then heated with a hair drier to help fully stick it down, oh and used IPA before I applied it, obviously washed and dried it throughly before too. http://www.eba...

Looks good ash...did you rub down all the chrome first or just go straight on with primer? I want to do my vw badges black but quite like the 2.0tsi badge as well and held off doing them for contrast between black and chrome.

Can't believe how hard it is to change a dipped beam bulb on these, just done mine yesterday and ended up taking the whole headlight assembly out to do it, much easier in the end just couldn't get in under the wing and I've not even got big hand!
