Hi, can anyone tell me if when changing the water pump I should change just the pump or the whole assembly as well? If just the pump, what make is best? cheers.

Ive just removed mine, couldn't stop it rattling no matter how much I adjusted them!...has stopped the rattling, just means you have to lift the boot as you unlock it.

Hi, I need a new alternator as mine is making a whining noise which gets louder with revs. I know there is a 140amp and a 120amp, which one should I get? or would either be fine?

Hmm, air con compressor is below the drive bet pulleys isn’t it?…how much was the labour to change that? should I just bite the bullet and change the compressor, drive pulley, tensioner and belt? can get the pulley, tensioner, belt and water pump for £120…compressor looks about £195.

No pretty sure its not the turbo, its a definite constant whine which is always there and increases with engine speed
