Depends what you want if a sparkly polished look you need to be getting a metal polish and cloth and going to town on it or soaking them in coke is said to work

Polish and wire wool, cheap and easy, gives a brushed Aluminium look though that I like.

It's a completely new engine with no exhaust manifold for example and no engine cover as air box is over engine so their isn't a logo to be seen unfortunately but it is how it is.

If you have a full Vw service history you will get goodwill if you twist your dealers arm. The compressors aren't cheap at all. A compressor at the end of the day is a compressor in my eyes where where ever you get one from and who ever fits it. If you have right amount of gas in system your condens...
