Re: Anyone DIY retrofitted rear parking sensors???

Hello iforland,

I have tried tearing down a bit of my headliner, all I can find was two connector connecting to the rear center brake light. Mine is also RHD (from Singapore). Is there anything I'm missing out? What's a O/S BTW?

Re: Anyone DIY retrofitted rear parking sensors???

Hello all,

I hope this does not drift away from the initial topic, but I was wondering if anyone can advise where is the stock beeper located at?

As I run a check my reverse sensors is working but it no longer beep after I re-wrap my headliner.

Many thanks in advance!

Parking Aid Beeper

Hello fellow Scirocco owners. Need some help here. I got my car send in to rewrap my headliner about two months ago. When I collect my car from the garage, I realise two electronic component failed. One is the light from the sun visor's mirror, which won't lit up anymore (which is not much of a conc...

Re: Heads up for anybody thinking of buying led sidelight un

Hello Shaun, I got it off China Aliexpress for about USD$79.85. Problem is they don't come with an instruction manual. Initially contacted the seller, didn't really gave me a proper instruction for installation. Hence decided to ask if anyone here have done it before. They just got it back to me, an...

Re: Defect Brake Servo

Quick update people, after a series of check, diagnostic trial and error by my friend's uncle garage the other week, they couldn't find any fault.

But just so happened, after topping up the brake fluid, the warning is gone. So far its been two weeks, no sign of Defect Brake Servo warning.

Re: Defect Brake Servo

Thanks froudeg! During start up it doesn't disappear until I move off. Otherwise, if it doesn't appear during start up, some time later while driving, it will just appear randomly, but braking still feels the same. I'm guessing it could be a sensor fault, but wiring have never occur to me, guess I c...

Re: Defect Brake Servo

Mine happened pretty occasionally during when I drive. It happens when I'm in low rev or while low rev changing to next lower gear, but will disappear if I tap or step on the brakes during traffic jam. Some told me to try topping up me brake fluid but haven't yet had the time to try it. Does your e...

Re: Defect Brake Servo

This is a common problem - happens during start up when the vacuum pressure is low and the ecu intermittently reports this fault and then it clears almost as fast as it reports it. If it happens only on start up and then clears straight away I would not worry about it. I believe there was a softwar...
