You should check out Gazzagood's build log, I hear he sorted it out by swapping the steering module.

I am guessing Steve's car does not have DRL's, as the settings he explained are for halogen only. That is how halogen-fitted cars without DRL operates by law.

The loose wire might be rear fog lights? A lot of people have been struggling with those.

Have you tried checking with VCDS?

I found out my unit was not coded, and AUX was disabled. I haven't tested the aux after I enabled it though, as I only use bluetooth.

I talked with a buddy from the VW Parts Store, and he told me the headlights had to be ordered from Germany, costing 587 Euro pr. headlight, so I found a pair on ebay, which had the ballasts and all modules for 749 euro. I was planning to install the headlights first without the Adaptive Front Light...
