Re: CallidaC static deep black
I got my front splitter this Monday. It fits really nice and looked astonishing until it snapped half three hours after installation. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05/27/e05e668abd21caf55fe021c733327526.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05/27/c536ef1918e05cad711a5154df95fcdd.jpg http://image...

Re: CallidaC static deep black
Hi mate, Car is looking really good, have you had any luck with the colour mfd? I'm wanting to do this to mine but haven't a clue where to begin? Any feedback would be appreciated. Hi, I haven't even started to think about the mfd retrofit. I will buy the R-steeringwheel first and then the instrume...

Re: CallidaC static deep black
Took some photographs with my friend. Car had a little bit of dust on it, but still nice. My friend tried "light painting" for the first time. In the first picture the white spots are lights and stars, not chipping on paintwork :D https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/45lKdRat3YgVT9jI2QNtOKMDq...

Thanks.Bowser wrote:Good work done with the cleaning/detailing side of things! Very nice, tidy looking car.
Detailing is my hobby and I'm trying to do it as good as possible.
Here's a pic from today's detailing.

I'm driving static with 7cm ground clearance. A little bit of cheating, because it's driven to a little bump, but...

Thanks! Yes, they are 18x8 in the front and 18x9 in the back. With the spacers they are now ET15 in the front and ET18 in the back.UKtom wrote:Car looks great! Love the wheels - are they 18's?

Re: Snowfoam fun
IMO the best "snowfoam" is Bilt Hamber Auto-foam. It's not as thick foaming as magifoam, but cleans much better.
In this pic the left door is cleaned by Bilt Hamber Auto-foam and the other magifoam.

Re: CallidaC static deep black
I´m not sure about the sidelights, but of course the interior leds are legal. The amber coloured ones are illegal as hell. I wrote the last post with my phone so I didn´t bother to write that.Jimijokela wrote:I dont know about foglight leds, but interior and sidelights can be led legally.

Re: CallidaC static deep black
Looking good, I see a few of your mates have yellow fogs, have you considered them? I want to see how they look before I decide haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I´m not a huge fan of yellow fogs on black car. In the red mk5gti yellow fogs look nice though. I ordered led bulbs for the fogligh...

Re: CallidaC static deep black
Today I did some cleaning and detailing to the engine bay. I used Bilt-Hamber Surfex-hd & autofoam through foam-lance and some detailing brushes to clean it. For protection I used Carpro Reload. This is how it looked like before http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04/20/9a0117f88a0a4ecd25d52bf81e6...

I bought and installed the 30mm spacers in the front and put the old 20mm from front to back wheels.
