Stock R brake discs..
Hi all, I'm running the standard R brakes set up but with DS2500 Ferodo pads, RBF600 fluid and Goodridge lines. I had a track day at Snett the other month and but stock discs have warped pretty bad. They are running abit thin which won't help but I was just wondering if anyone has used a good afterm...

Re: Squeek on acceleration - low RPM
Had it changed and the noise has gone I thought I heard it very quite when I picked it up but I think it was just me! But driving it for a few days now and it's gone, don't know what the problem was but just hoping it don't come back! Will keep you posted

Re: Strange metallic rattle between 1500-2500rpms
Exact same problem here, light acceleration and it would make a diesel like rattle on my 2.0 TSi, that just made the car sound cheap and nasty. I just got the clip and had it installed (£15 for the part - £60 for labour at the dealer (ouch)), but its like a new car again. Thanks to the forums for t...

Re: Strange metallic rattle between 1500-2500rpms
I have the exact same problem , I purchased the wastegate clip only to find it just fits the k03 turbo , the noise is doing my head in !! Mine is getting louder. I'm having my cambelt and water pump changed soon as it's due so if it's not gone after that I will be taking it to a mechanic and not a v...

Re: 2.0L Tsi Wastegate Rattle Cure?
I just got the part from vw and he said he don't think it will fit as I have a different turbo. My turbo is the standard ko4 and I have a 2010 scirocco R, does the R use the same clip as the GT? I tried fitting it today and there was no way I could get it on , my wastegate rod look different to the ...

Re: Jim's Candy White R
Not updated for a while but there has been a few changes to the Rocco. I decided to upgrade the brakes first, I went for the Ferodo DS2500 pads front and rear with Goodridge braided line with RBF 600 fluid, and just had my OE discs skimmed. It a really good stage 1 brake upgrade if you don't want to...

Re: Intercoolers
^ For that price I would be 100% buying a Peron.. lol. "All prices shown exclude VAT at the current rate" So that's £600 PLUS vat. No thanks. Peron is around that including vat From Alex, think it may even be a tad less now. I didn't pay full price as my friend works there but you pay for...
