Re: rising blue project
The rotors are 19" x 8.5 with slight stretch on the tyres. They seem to fit flush to the arch so no spacers needed. May get 5mm all round though?

Re: rising blue project
Yeah the spitter scrapes when coming down multi car parks and hits curbs but only slightly not enough for me to have to remove it. It doesn't hit on the village speed bumps round my area which is good.

rising blue project
Hi, Just wanted to share what I have done over the past 8 months of having my car. I always wanted a scirocco and thought after having my smart car roadster it was time to trade in and upgrade to this. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h194/rcreative/image_zps44567899.png After having it for a few w...

Re: New wheels finaly arrived!
Sounds great. If the replicas are seemingly close enough to the OEM's then maybe you won't have to steal your mate's wheels when he isn't looking, haha. Do you mind me asking where you got them from? I'm afraid I don't know much about camber, but i look forward to seeing the car with whatever you d...

Re: New wheels finaly arrived!
Can't make my mind up about these alloys. I like the shape/design, but I'm not sure on the colour. I know what you mean, and I felt exactly the same, I see everyone else's and thought they were better but you can never tell until they are on. The pictures don't do it justice. When you have to chang...

These are 225/35/19 which gives a slight stretched look but fit perfect.Pads wrote:They look really good! what tyre sizes are you running?

Re: New wheels finaly arrived!
That looks sweet! I really like the look of the audi rotors on a Scirocco. What offset/ET are those? Do the replicas seem OK? Thanks simon92, These are an exact replica and I can't tell the difference as compared them to my mates who has an Audi TT with these oem wheels on. I got them in 19x8.5 ET3...

Re: Audi TTRS Alloys?
After 6 months I've finally got around to having it lowered on H&R springs 35-40mm and 19" audi alloys arrived today so slapped them on and got the alignments and camber adjustment doing this weekend. Is there anything I should look out for? http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h194/rcreative/...

Gearbox problem
I have a 2009 1.4tsi and after 5 months of having it the 5th gear synchromesh has been replaced, but the gears all seam to have got worse. When at high speed and dropping down from 6th to 5th the gearbox grinds when changing gear quickly. The gearbox also feels clunky? Does anyone know what it could...

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
I spent all day detailing the car.
- Foam washed
- Washed
- Clay Bar
- Polished
- Waxed
and then repeated the process on 3 other family cars!
Oh and replaced my DRL lights to the Dectane ones. Really does make the front look more agressive in my opinion.

Re: Audi TTRS Alloys?
Thanks for the feedback!
I was looking at 19's as think running a 30 profile on 20" will be a bit of a hard ride…?
et45 i think as these are replicas.
I would love to get the Cantonas but can't find any replicas.

Love it, you have done a very nice job!
I'm a newbie and am looking to upgrade the front lights too to bi xenons. Where did you get them from?
Thanks.
