My VW dealer sent me a video of it being unloaded off the truck in a personal message. Nice touch. Will collect Monday/Tuesday

2k seems steep as an extra on the new car. More of a personal preference because you're not getting a return on it when you go to sell it. Could be wrong. Just my view

Called the dealer it will be in Ireland on Monday and take a couple of days from there to get to Belfast. Handy number if you live in grimbsby

My car has been sitting in the UK for 5 days and hasn't budged, dealer looking into it. Driving me insane!

There's 3 stages of In Transit Ffs lol. With the winds on the irish sea and shipping canceled recently there will be backlogs for any Irish buyers.

In transit: left factory on the 1st October, in transit: shipping 15th October. Last I hear it was sitting in Germany booked into the schedule for shipping to the UK. Feels less like 2 weeks more like 1 year!!

Guys - is the 12 week period to give VW some wiggle room, or does it generally take less?

Obviously your desales location plays the biggest factor vl but interested to hear others experience

It will be 2 weeks in transit next Monday for me. Ireland's a little further to go. I have no clue what the winter pack is? Heated seats in cloth is that legit?

What do you lads think about the leather, I didn't go for it, hard to justify the 1.8k extra in a new car? Not even sure that included heated seats!

I've ordered the new Scirocco due for delivery in a couple of weeks. I've read a bit about the MQB Platform (not enough to understand what it is!) Is it a big deal that it's on in the a Rocco but in the Golf? Or not worth the forum post thinking about!? Also.... What is it?
