I've just got back from a bit of a drag race me and 2 friends had on a runway, and I'm gobsmacked! I was in my standard Scirocco, one friend in a standard Nissan Skyline GTR R34, and another in a standard Focus ST.... And I left both of them! Apparently the X-ray didn't show up any breaks, but there is blood and fat under my patella, which apparently is the type of swelling consistent with a broken bone. However I also had symptoms of a torn cruciate ligament, so I've got to have an MRI scan to find out exactly what it is.

Either torn my cruciate ligament, or fractured my kneecap. I'm going to be in a full leg cast for 6 weeks

I've now had my car 6 days, I love it to bits, but today at lunchtime DISASTER struck.

Meant to say, I did a 14 mile trip yesterday evening from cold, and I managed to get an average of 45.5mpg by driving like a saint! The temptation was there but I had to resist it!
