I might be missing the point here. But pod -intakes usually makes a lot more noise then factory boxes. In my previous car I experienced a lot more turbo and turbulence sound when I removed the factory box.

Thanks for your reply. Does and doesn't sound quite similar to my problem as it only for the first few strokes the engine doesn't sound right (I.e not as long as 15 seconds, more like 2-3). And today, even after standing parked for 10hrs, the engine sounded fine (no diesel sounds). So I'm guessing i...
