Re: Sump Plug Type - TDI 170?

For the 33 people who had viewed the thread but couldn't answer.

Just changed the oil, it's a 19mm standard 6 sided bolt.
You need two sizes of torx bits to get the under-tray off to get at the sump.

Sump Plug Type - TDI 170?

Can anybody tell me what the sump plug type is, I mean what tool I will need to remove it? :?

Going to do an interim oil service before my main service is due in May next year.
Oil is like black sludge as have covered 9k.

Cheers,

James.

Re: Scratched Windscreen

This is the ice scraper I used. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_163897_langId_-1_categoryId_255238 I used the side that is made from clear plastic, not the rubber bit. If you have one I wouldn't recommend using it. Shi*e, I have one ...

Re: diesel additive.

+1 for the shell vpower nitro, essentially it's just diesel with the extra cleaning additives in already.
Winner.

They have a great app as well, tells you the nearest garage and has offers and stuff.
I only fill up with shell these days.

Re: Daylight running lights

Got mine sorted at Awesome GTI recently.

Off = Off (Everything off)
On = On (Everything on)
Side = (Sides & Rears)
Auto = (Works as it should do, lights on in dark/dull conditions & off in bright conditions)

Bit like Ronseal now, does exactly what it says on the switch :)
